38'
Cargo Canopy System
This
cargo parachute is used for radio-controlled aerial target
(RCAT) recovery. The parachute consists of a flat-circular-shaped
nylon canopy equipped with two D-rings, a pilot chute, and
an expendable pack bag. The pilot chute, which is of vane-type
construction, has a 36-inch diameter nylon canopy and is
connected to the parachute through use of a bridle line.
The pack bag is made from waterproof material and is designed
for one-time use only. Each time the parachute is packed
for use a new pack bag is required. A plywood packing box
is also required for use as a packing aid with the pack
bag.

G-12 Cargo Canopy System
The G-12 64-foot diameter cargo parachute is designed primarily
for medium capacity use with the A-22 Air Delivery Cargo
Bag, although the G-12 is used with variations of platform-rigged
loads as prescribed in the applicable equipment rigging
publications. The parachute assembly includes a 64-foot-diameter
flat-circular nylon canopy, a 111-inch-long deployment
line, a 68-inch-diameter nylon pilot chute, and a 15-foot-long
static line. The gores and suspension lines of the canopy
assembly are numbered clockwise when viewed from the
canopy vent.
