Quasar II – Service Bulletin #26
Strong Enterprises
Progress Report

On April 18th, 2007, Strong Enterprises announced Service Bulletin #26. This was done as a recall for modification on all of our Quasar II sport parachute container systems in the field. Two days later, the first Quasar II received for modification then arrived on Friday April 20th, 2007, and was shipped back out the same day. Since then, Strong Enterprises has received over 170 of the 1064 Quasar II containers in the field and has returned most of them back to their customers already. Our goal has been a 1-2 day turn around based on volume received, and to date, we are close to that goal and have seen the majority of the Quasar II containers received, serviced and back in the mail within a single work day time frame. This quick turn around time could not have been made possible if it were not for the hard work and dedication of every one of our 75 employees here at Strong Enterprises. We are proud to say that our entire team has pulled together to ensure that not a single Quasar II stays at the factory any longer than necessary. With a factory full of active skydivers, including Ted Strong, we know how important it is to get our customers' Quasar II containers back in the air as soon as possible.

Want to see how the Quasar II Reserve now works with the Grabber Pilot Chute? Check out the reserve deployment jumps that Ted put on the system by clicking Movie1.mpg and Movie2.mpg.

Any comments or questions please feel free to call us or send us an email. Or, if you find yourself in the Orlando area, by all means, please stop on by the factory for a tour and say hello. We are here, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.

Blue skies to all, and to all a good flight.

Best Regards,

The Employees of Strong Enterprises
Orlando, FL

Quasar II - Service Bulletin #26 Reserve Tray Modification - Packing Instructions Notice

This notice is to confirm that the reserve packing instructions have not changed as a result of the reserve tray modifications to the Quasar II. The original fabric top flap has been replaced with a kicker flap. As a result, the Quasar II is still closed in the same sequence as the original Quasar II. Bridle stowage remains the same as well.
